Big Island Sunset Sails

Sunset sails in Hawaii are famous for a reason. The peace and calm of nothing but sea and sky is magical. There is no better place to watch the sun disappear into the Pacific every evening. You might even see the unique "green flash" that is only seen by watching the sunset on the ocean's horizon. Our Big Island Sunset Sails include your choice of complimentary champagne, tropical cocktail, Kona beer, soda, water, and pupus (appetizers) for your enjoyment. So what are you waiting for? Fishing

Our idea of fishing on the Moana is trolling lures behind the boat in hopes of catching fish such as Ono (Wahoo), Mahi Mahi (Dorado), and Ahi (Tuna). No license is required. The Kona Coast is well-known for great fishing. We keep fishing gear on board, so if you want to fish while we're sailing, just let us know!

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

We keep two soft-top Stand Up Paddle Boards on the boat at all times. While we are secured to a mooring for snorkeling is a great time to try this if you haven't already done so. It's great exercise, and you can explore the shoreline. We ask that you don't go too far, so we can keep an eye on our guests for safety reasons. Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) offers a fun way to play on the water, with the added benefit of a full-body workout. Since you can stand at full height on your board, it gives you a unique vantage point for viewing what's under the water and on the horizon. You may even get lucky and see a reef turtle coming up to catch a breath or even some of our resident dolphins cruising the Kona coast.
